Integrated Awareness Workshop for MSME Entrepreneurs Organized in Lakhimpur Kheri under the RAMP Programme

With the objective of strengthening Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), enhancing competitiveness, and promoting sustainable industrial development, the Uttar Pradesh Small Industries Corporation Limited in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Industries, Lakhimpur Kheri organized an Integrated Awareness Workshop for MSME entrepreneurs under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme on February 3, 2026, at Hotel Comfort Inn.

The programme commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Ujjwal Singh, Deputy Commissioner Industries / General Manager, District Industries Centre, Lakhimpur Kheri. On this occasion, the Special Guest, Mr. Mayank Singh, Assistant Labour Commissioner, shared his insights on the importance of the RAMP scheme, innovation in the MSME sector, quality enhancement, and financial empowerment.

During the workshop, detailed sessions were conducted on various provisions available under the RAMP Programme. Subject matter experts also provided valuable information on the ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Certification Scheme, MSME policies of the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Government of India, financial assistance mechanisms, loan facilities offered by SBI’s for MSMEs Unit, and export insurance and guarantee services provided by ECGC Limited.

The event featured expert guidance from Mr. Siddharth Shankar Pandey (SBI), CA Roshan Lal Agrawal (ICAI), Mr. Subhash Kumar Jha (ECGC Limited), and ZED-certified expert Ms. Kajal Yadav, along with officials from various departments and industry specialists.

The workshop witnessed active participation from Mr. Ashok Gupta (LDM), Mr. Prasoon Singh (NABARD), Mr. Deepak Agrawal, Chairman – IIA and several MSME entrepreneurs, industry association representatives, and other key stakeholders from the district.

Participants were also informed about the CM Yuva. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Deputy Commissioner Industries. The workshop proved to be a significant step towards enhancing awareness among MSME entrepreneurs regarding government schemes, financial resources, quality improvement, and export opportunities.
